Carers Network BizzyBox Lending Project Terms of Borrowing 


You're nearly there! Before you can borrow things, we need you to agree to the Carers Network BizzyBox Lending Project terms of borrowing: 


Definitions 


The ‘Member’ – any person who has created an account via the BizzyBox Lending Project Lend Engine website. 

Item’ – any piece of equipment or thing stocked by the BizzyBox Lending Project 

BizzyBox Lending Project’ (or ‘BBLP’, ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’) – is Carers Network’s purpose-led project lending out items to Members.   

Borrowing’ – the act of hiring an item from BizzyBox Lending Project site for the stated fees and returning it on the stated return date 


Joining & Membership 

Only Members are able to borrow from BizzyBox Lending Project. 

To become a Member, you must: 

  1. Be aged 18 or above 

  1. Give your personal details: full name, current postcode, phone number and a valid email address so that we can contact you 

  1. Tick to accept this BizzyBox Lending Project Terms of Borrowing 


Borrowing 

Member Responsibilities 

As a Member, you are responsible for: 

  1. Bringing the item back clean. If the item is returned to BizzyBox Lending Project in a state that causes our BBLP Technicians to perform a deep clean and/or an unpleasant experience for the next Member, we reserve the right to charge a Cleaning Fee determined by BizzyBox Lending Project. 

  1. Bringing the item back on time, so the next Member isn't kept waiting. You must return all items borrowed in their complete state (i.e. with all included parts) to the BizzyBox Lending Project site that you borrowed it from by closing time on the stated Return Date. 
    You are able to change the item’s Return Date by logging into your account on the BizzyBox Lending Project website, and editing the Return Date. This is only possible if: 
     

  1. There are no reservations made by another Member starting on or before your new proposed Return Date 

  1. You make the change before the closing time on the stated Return Date. If you have any difficulties with this, you must contact Carers Network before the closing time on the stated Return Date. 


You understand that returning items after their Return Date and/or not in their complete state with all included parts could incur a late fee, determined by Carers Network. 

You will receive notifications reminding you the item is overdue. If you do not return the item after 1 week of your Return Date, the item will be considered a ‘non return’ and you will be charged up to the full replacement cost of the item. We will notify you in writing via email and send you an e-receipt for the replacement fee.
